Today, October 3, is International Mean Girls Day, and most of the principle cast of the 2004 comedy classic reunited digitally, if not IRL to announce a fundraiser for victims of the Las Vegas massacre.
Out actors Jonathan Bennett and Daniel Franzese were joined by Amanda Seyfried and Lacey Chabert on social media to encourage the “groolest” fans out there to donate to a fund benefitting the families of the shooting.
In the video, the actors get back in touch with their characters for a series of testimonials to get every fan to donate at least $3 to reach a goal of $300,000.
“Happy Mean Girls Day. This year we want to give the attention to those who need it most. Let’s please help the families who were affected by the devastating tragedy in Las Vegas,” Chabert wrote alongside a video on Instagram.
A choked up Seyfried signs off with, “Thank you for being a fan and thank you for your help.”
No, LiLo did not an appearance in the video, but she did mark the day by inviting her fans to follow her on Snapchat. Stop trying to make Snapchat happen, girl.
