Hillary Clinton’s new memoir, What Happened will offer new revelations on the presidential candidate’s failed 2016 campaign, including the infamous debate where a creeping Donald Trump made Clinton’s “skin crawl.”
Set for release on September 12 by Simon & Schuster, Clinton’s campaign memoir is sure to be a juicy, behind-the-scenes tell-all covering her presidential campaign against Trump. As teased in audio excerpts on MSNBC’s Morning Joe, the memoir holds nothing back on the brutal campaign, especially the moment when Donald stood threateningly behind Hillary during a debate in St. Louis. The debate occurred only two days after an Access Hollywood tape was leaked of Trump discussing his method for groping women to get his way. In the memoir, Clinton reflects upon hearing the recording and expressed her deep discomfort that the tiny-handed tyrant was repeatedly invading her physical space during the debate, thinking, ‘Back up, you creep. Get away from me. I know you love to intimidate women, but you can’t intimidate me, so back up.’
As reported in the Washington Post, Clinton’s memoir delves into her state of mind during the vicious campaign in which Trump incessantly attempted to bully and intimidate the former Secretary of State. Clinton’ surrogates accused Trump of “menacingly stalking,” and two body language experts concluded that Trump was trying to assert his power by roaming the stage while Clinton spoke.
