At the advent of his horrible presidency, Donald Trump used his tiny hand to push Prime Minister Dusko Markovic of Montenegro, out of the way. During a joint meeting at NATO in Brussels in May 2017 attended by various world leaders, most of the heads of state all walked in a mature, civilized manner toward a photo-op. As if taking a cue out of Showgirls, the Media Whore in Chief shoved Markovic aside so that he, the onetime star of The Apprentice, could stand in front and closer to the flashing cameras.
This past week, anyone who doesn’t live among ostriches has ONCE AGAIN been reminded by a badly executed press conference from Trump Tower and ensuing tweets that money can’t buy you class.
It comes as no surprise that Trump—who after the deadly violence in Charlottesville, VA, spawned by the Unite the Right hate rally, stumbled horribly to make timely and appropriate condemnations of white supremacist groups—tried to horn in on the honor and attention paid to Heather Heyer at her funeral.
Heyer was killed when a white supremacist plowed his car into a crowd of peaceful counterprotesters.
Reportedly the White House made several calls to Susan Bro, Heather Heyer’s mother, on the day of her daughter’s funeral. However, Bro was preoccupied with the memorial service at which she gave a beautiful, uplifting eulogy for her child.
It wasn’t until later Bro viewed that disgraceful press conference when Chump Change defended white supremacists and placed equal blame on counterprotestors like her daughter.
“You had a group on one side who was bad, and you had a group on the other side that was also very violent, and nobody wants to say that, but I’ll say it right now,” he sputtered, unfortunately going on to say there were “very fine people on both sides.”
Trump, obviously wasn’t on the ground. Accounts from folks at the epicenter—clergy, Charlottesville moms and children, Cornel West—say that in numerous instances members of the alt-left/antifa/anarchists saved them from being beaten to a bloody pulp during the Nazi onslaughts.
On Good Morning America, Bro stated she will not speak to Trump, and will not forgive him for his comments.
“You can’t wash this one away by shaking my hand and saying ‘I’m sorry.’”
