There’s so much secrecy surrounding adult film performer Stormy Daniels’ upcoming “60 Minutes” interview with Anderson Cooper that we’re expecting revelations no less explosive than the names and locations of every secret bunker containing Donald Trump’s love children.
Although Stormy’s publicity-savvy (or should we say “publicity hungry,” and some might say hot AF daddy, Michael Avenatti) lawyer announced the interview on Twitter last week, we’re still unsure what — if anything — the interview will be about. After all, it isn’t set until March 25, and CBS has to first air an interview with the Saudi crown prince Mohammed bin Salman. (It’s the first time a U.S. TV network has interviewed a Saudi leader since 2005. It’s a thing, trust.)
Thus, this interview could be about pretty much anything. Could it possibly focus on the mysterious person who physically threatened Stormy, a.k.a. Stephanie Clifford, in an attempt to silence her about her affair with Trump? (And could that person potentially have been a Trump crony, or Trump himself?) Or will the twist end up being that 40 minutes of the show is just about Anderson Cooper working through his recent breakup with his boyfriend of several years Benjamin Maisani, while Stormy gently massages his shoulders?
What we DO know is that Stormy’s lawyer told CNN that six other women have shared stories similar to Daniels’ about sexual relationships with Trump — and that at least two of them have signed non-disclosure agreements. Additionally, Trump’s own lawyer may have inadvertently helped Daniels break her NDA with Trump when he filed a libel suit against Buzzfeed in January over their coverage of Trump’s dealings with Russia. Because of that suit, Buzzfeed could now ask Stormy — whose NDA was arranged by that same lawyer — to provide documentation of her relationship with Trump as part of a deposition. We never thought we’d say this, but: Buzzfeed might just save the world!
