Porn Star Affair Be Damned, Trump Gets ‘Do-Over’ From Evangelicals

Featured, Politics

The Family Research Council, a supposedly faith-based organization listed by the Southern Poverty Law Center as an anti-gay hate group, is headed by the odious Tony Perkins. Perkins should not at all be confused with legendary actor Anthony Perkins of Psycho who passed away in 1992 from AIDS-related causes. Tony Perkins is and has always been opposed to anything LGBTQ and campaigned HARD in 2008 for the passage of Proposition 8 that prohibited same-sex marriage in California. Any public policy position that is suppressive and conservative is a policy promoted by Perkins and his sham foundation (with which U.S. Vice President Mike Pence is aligned). Perkins is rotten. And recently it was confirmed on Politico’s Off Message podcast that he is a terrible hypocrite when it came time to comment on Trump’s extramarital affair with porn star Stormy Daniels. (It is rumored their sexual activities involved Stormy spanking his pasty, McDonald’s-plumped ass with a copy of Forbes magazine.)

“We kind of gave him—‘All right, you get a mulligan. You get a do-over here,’” is how Perkins summed up the double standard. Maybe he meant to say “comb-over.”

On its website, Family Research Council states it “champions marriage and family as the foundation of civilization, the seedbed of virtue, and the wellspring of society. Properly understood, ‘families’ are formed only by ties of blood, marriage, or adoption, and ‘marriage’ is a union of one man and one woman.”

So, in this warped mindset, Trump’s spanking sessions are issued a “pass” because, for evangelicals, the randy president is implementing “constitutionally conservative” policies when appointing judges. No matter that the institution of marriage for Red Rump is one man and three (official) women, and that his extramarital YEAR-LONG fling (obviously there is more not yet come to light) with a porn star began when his son Barron with third wife Melania was four months old.

Well, Perkins explained that bigoted evangelicals “were tired of being kicked around by Barack Obama and his leftists. And I think they are finally glad that there’s somebody on the playground that is willing to punch the bully.”

Oh, Obama, with his even-handed government policies, was the bully, so much worse than the spoiled-brat actions of a pussy-grabbing sexual predator.

“I think the president is providing the leadership we need at this time, in our country and in our culture,” is the unwavering, fraudulent rhetoric Perkins is currently espousing, a hint that he must be smoking the same reality-altering substance as Sarah Huckabee Sanders.
